Overview - Cobactan® IV

Cobactan IV is the latest product in Intervet’s equine portfolio antibiotic range based on cefquinome. A moderns and innovative formula, it’s the only fourth generation cephalosporin registered for horses with the flexibility of intravenous (IV) and intramuscular (IM) use. Cobactan IV has been registered for use in the treatment of foals septicaemia and Equine Respiratory Disease (ERD).

Cobactan IV is offered in a 30 ml vial with powder containing 1.35 g cefquinome, and a 100 ml vial with powder containing 4.5 g cefquinome. The diluent as well as transfer spikes for easy reconstitution are provided.
