Merck Animal Health Host Culinary Tour of Nations Luncheon at 2014 International Production & Processing Expo

Attendees Gain Valuable Information on the Benefits of Vaccination Programs

SUMMIT, NEW JERSEY January 17, 2014 – Merck Animal Health (known as MSD Animal Health outside the USA and Canada) announced it will host a luncheon titled: Culinary Tour of Nations at this year’s International Production & Processing Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, January 28-30. The luncheon will feature various poultry dishes from different continents that guest can enjoy while having the opportunity to learn more about the Convenience Program developed by Merck Animal Health.

The Convenience Program is designed to meet farmers’ current and future needs for process improvement and performance enhancement. The method of vaccine timing introduced through the Convenience Program combines in-ovo/subcutaneous and day-old vaccination application. This provides earlier and longer protection against respiratory diseases of concern to the poultry industry. Merck Animal Health has developed an effective range of vaccines with biological behaviors that allows them to be combined, without losing efficacy.

The luncheon will be held on January 29 at 12:00 PM in the exhibit center and is by invitation only. Attendees who are interested in attending the event should contact their local Merck Animal Health sales representative or visit the Merck Animal Health booth #151 in Hall A.
